The economy is slowly beginning to reopen, and as parents return to work, many are looking for childcare and summer camp options for their children.

However, safety remains of utmost concern and families are also wondering how their kiddos will be safe when they attend.

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber is offering a free webinar on Monday, May 18 from 1-2 p.m. to help answer all of those questions. The “Opening and Operating Community Summer Programming in the Capital Region” webinar will feature Christian Engle of the YMCA of the Capital Region and Leea Russell of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, who will share their organizations’ plans for opening and operating summer camps in 2020, including the new health and safety protocols they will implement. Brandon Foreman of Baton Rouge Parents Magazine will also be on the panel, providing even more information on the important of these summer camp reopenings.

Through this BRAC Business Webinar, you will learn what high-quality summer programming, big and small, across the Capital Region will look like.

This webinar has a 500 participant cap, so be sure to register to secure your spot. A link to the webinar will be included in the registration confirmation email, and emailed to all registered attendees on the morning of the event.
