Calling all artists and artists in the making! The Doodle for Google contest is open now, and doodles are being accepted through March 14!
Students in grades K-12 are encouraged to create a doodle that showcases what they’re grateful for. Whether your child prefers crayons and markers or paint and clay, this contest allows your kiddo to tap into their creativity for a chance to win great prizes.
Here’s how to enter! First, download and print the entry form. Artists can then create their doodle, write about what they have created and how they represented their gratitude in their artwork, and submit their artwork via the online entry form or mail.
Doodles are judged on artistic merit, creativity, and theme communication. For the state and territory winners, 10 or more winners will be chosen for each grade group. There will be one finalist in each grade group for National Finalists, and the National Winner will be featured on Google.com.
Winners have a chance to receive Google hardware, Google swag, and a congratulatory message from Google. National Finalists will receive hardware, swag, and a $5,000 college scholarship. The National Winner will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, a $50,000 technology package for their school/nonprofit organization, hardware, and swag.
