St. George Fire Department, in partnership withThe Safety Place – Safety & Injury Prevention, and Louisiana Firefighters Foundation, hosted a ribbon cutting for the new “With Love, Community Essentials Market.” This market will create opportunities to empower, exchange and embrace gently-loved items. Caregivers can “shop” for items such as child clothing, baby gear, home cleaning kits, family dinner bags, diapers and wipes, period products, toys, and a variety of other essential items. Initial Market operating hours will be twice a month, select community events, and special holiday dates.
