Launching ToneBR wasn’t just about creating a fitness studio, it was about answering a calling.
Co-owner Lauren Temple shares, “We wanted to build a one-stop destination for wellness and group fitness that truly supports people at every stage of their journey,” she says.
Inspired by the vibrant boutique studio culture in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Dallas, they set out to bring that same energy to Baton Rouge, but with their own spin. The result? A space that feels deeply connected and inclusive from the moment you walk through the doors.
More Than a Workout
ToneBR isn’t just about breaking a sweat—it’s about shifting your mindset. “Yes, we’re here to help you tone your body, but we’re also here to help shift your tone when it comes to how you think about wellness, confidence, and self-care,” Temple explains.
With a welcoming vibe, upbeat playlists, and encouraging instructors, Tone BR creates an environment where wellness feels fun, attainable, and empowering—not intimidating.
Fitness That Meets You Where You Are
Whether you’re a fitness newbie, getting back into a routine, or ready to level up, ToneBR is built for every body and every goal.
“Our instructors are pros at meeting people where they are,” Temple says. Each class is designed with scalable options, so you can turn up the heat—or keep it cool—depending on what your body needs that day. “Movement should meet you, not the other way around,” she adds.
From Lagree to strength, sculpt to stretch, every session is intentionally crafted to be both effective and accessible.
A Community That Lifts You Up
For Temple, one of the biggest wins hasn’t been a single moment, it’s the ongoing joy of hearing clients call ToneBR their happy place. “When someone tells me that walking into the studio is the best part of their day—that it lifts their mood, gives them confidence, or helps them feel like themselves again—that’s everything,” she says.
The Future is Bright
What’s next? The team is launching a Nutrition Coaching program, and they’re also rolling out pre- and postnatal fitness classes, along with individualized training options designed to support women through all stages of motherhood.
“We want mamas to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies, because strength looks different on everyone, and we celebrate it all,” Temple says.
