On Thursday, March 27th, the Baton Rouge Symphony League hosted their Annual Mad Hatters Luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Chaired by Sheila Morris, this year’s theme was “Butterflies & Blooms: Garden Melody.” Louann Bombet was the Honorary Chair of the Event. Louann has served as League President, Secretary, LJA Advisor, Treasurer, and many other roles.
The morning kicked off with a special VIP Party, thanking all of the many sponsors who made the day possible: Coleman Consulting Group, LLC, H&O Grounds, Baton Rouge Parents Magazine/Family Resource Group, Inc., inRegister, Lamar Advertising Company, Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, Otey White & Associates, Bruno Real Estate Group, Luckett Portrait Studio, Sigma Engineers and Constructors, Casey Hicks and Wealthy Roots.
Luncheon attendants came donned in outfits with beautiful flowers & butterflies. They enjoyed champagne while browsing the many silent auction items donated by local businesses and had a chance to enter a drawing for a custom hat from Chapeaux and a beautiful Mikimoto necklace donated by Lee Michaels.
The latest fashion trends were featured in a fashion show, presented by Lukka, Emily Katherine Boutique, Head Over Heels and Cheapeaux and emceed by Melanie Hebert and the Mad Hatter himself, Leonard Augustus.
