Southern University and A&M College’s College of Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies has launched a new Bachelor of Arts program in Digital Media Arts. The degree will be available to students beginning in the fall 2025 semester. This interdisciplinary program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and the Department of Mass Communication. It is designed to equip students with the creative and technical skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic digital media industry. Approved by the Louisiana Board of Regents, the program includes five specialized areas of concentration: Digital Screen Arts Production, Digital Performance Fusion, Visual Arts and Motion Graphics, Digital Sports Production, and Recording Arts. ■ subr.edu
