Was your child inspired by the Louisiana Triathlon and would like to try their hand at a triathlon themselves? Rocketkidz whose mission is to “create and sustain active, fit and healthy children, families and communities” is giving children the chance to show off their athleticism on June 4 at the Paula Manship YMCA. This triathlon is for kids ages 3-10 years old and features a variety of races from a swim, a bike race, to a run. To make the event even more inclusive, a nonswimmer division will allow the use of floatation devices, and the bike race welcomes trikes and training wheels. rocketkidz.com/rocketkidz-rookies
