Do you have an outstanding kid? We think so, too!

That’s why you should register them for The Cover Kid Event, happening on Saturday, August 17. If chosen, they’ll be featured in an upcoming issue of Baton Rouge Parents Magazine and serve as an ambassador for our brand on future projects! Here’s what you need to know:

What is it?
The Cover Kid Event is a fun, family-centered event where your child will have a casual, one-on-one interview with our judges for a chance to be selected as a Cover Kid. As a Cover Kid, they will get an opportunity to appear in the magazine during the upcoming year. Only a select few will be chosen for the cover. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy visiting our great local vendors, live entertainment, games, and winning door prizes.

When is it?
The event will be held on Saturday, August 17 at the Renaissance Hotel. Be sure to save the date. Things will start at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is encouraged!

Can my child meet the judges?
If your child is between the ages of 2 and 17 and wants to be a Cover Kid, of course! This is not a talent contest or a beauty pageant. Accommodations will be made for children with exceptional needs.

How do I sign up?
It’s easy! Just head over here to reserve your child’s time slot for the big day. Then, bring your ticket and your little to the big event and check in at your chosen time–you’ll need both to enter. Spaces are limited and sell quickly, so register today!
