For the 14th year in a row, Raising Cane’s is serving up more than just chicken—it’s serving hope. On Tuesday, August 26, more than 50 Raising Cane’s restaurants across Louisiana will participate in the annual Kidd’s Kids Fundraiser, donating $1 from every Box Combo sold to help send children with life-altering or life-threatening conditions on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Walt Disney World.
Kidd’s Kids, founded in 1991 by beloved radio personality Kidd Kraddick, provides selected families with an all-expenses-paid five-day trip to Disney. For children facing daily medical challenges, the trip offers a chance to escape hospitals and treatments, replacing them with laughter, magic, and unforgettable memories.
Guests can take part in the fundraiser by dining in, ordering through the drive-thru, or placing an order online via the Cane’s mobile app or raisingcanes.com. Every Box Combo purchased—featuring Cane’s famous hand-battered chicken fingers, crispy crinkle-cut fries, house-made Cane’s Sauce, buttery Texas toast, and fresh coleslaw—will automatically contribute to the cause.
“One Day, One Dollar, One Trip of a Lifetime” is the motto, and Raising Cane’s has committed to donating at least $75,000, with a goal of reaching $100,000 for Kidd’s Kids this year.
Participating locations include restaurants across Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Houma, Slidell, Metairie, and more. A full list of Louisiana restaurants involved can be found at raisingcanes.com.
For those wishing to give beyond their meal purchase, additional donations can be made directly at kiddskids.org.
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 26, and make your meal count. By enjoying a craveable Box Combo, you’ll be helping bring joy, laughter, and lasting memories to deserving kids and their families.
