The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine’s Wellness Committee and Hill’s Pet Nutrition will host the 35th annual Hill’s Great Rover Road Run to promote health and wellness for people and their pets, all while raising money for the LSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s Good Samaritan Fund.

All race registrations and donations will benefit the Good Samaritan Fund, which gives medical care to homeless animals in need. If you are unable to make it in person, virtual attendance is available. In-person and virtual registration fees are both $25.

The Great Rover Road Run will be held on Saturday, April 25 with the 5K starting at 8 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 9:30 a.m. on the levee near LSU Vet Med. Pets are welcome but must be leashed and respectful of other people and their pets. For the safety of everyone, LSU Vet Med reserves the right to ask pet owners to leave if their pets do not meet the previously stated requirements.
