Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) is proud to present the 28th annual Louisiana Young Heroes program. Parents, principals, teachers, guidance counselors, family members, and friends were invited to nominate students that best exemplify a Young Hero. A Young Hero is defined as an exceptional student who has excelled in academics and public service and has demonstrated an overcoming of adversity, exhibited extraordinary heroism, and inspired others with their deeds and character. LPB is proud to recognize these role models: Kaydence Bradford (senior at Liberty Magnet High School); Canaan Hoosier (junior at Buckeye High School); Lindsay McKinney (senior at Franciscan High School); Nicholas Tarver (junior at Florien High School); Kelsie Tillage (senior at Southern University Laboratory School); and Vivienne Webb (junior at Caddo Magnet High School).
