Louisiana Public Broadcasting has named seven high school students from around the state as Louisiana Young Heroes. These outstanding students are role models in their communities and join over 200 former honorees. The seven extraordinary students being recognized as the 2024 Louisiana Young Heroes are: Germyrion “Gigi” George, senior at Liberty Magnet High School; Anna Jusselin, freshman at St. Amant High School; Hunter Robertson, junior at Denham Springs High School; Lauren Swanson; senior at Ascension Christian High School; Donald “Tré” Bishop III, sophomore at Ascension Episcopal School; Morgan Daigle, junior at Northwood-Lena High School; and Hudson Mobley, junior at Haynes Academy.
