Gardere Announces Public Phase of its Capital Campaign

Gardere Community Christian School has launched a $2.6M capital campaign for phase one of “Living the Vision–Building Bright Futures. This phase includes a permanent multi-purpose building with a new kitchen and dining area, a large common room for gatherings and outdoor play, academic intervention rooms for individual and small group instruction, and dedicated art and music classrooms. In 2011, former Principal and Founder, Nancy Zito, began the school with 10 students and the following vision: To build a Christian elementary school in the Gardere community, providing the necessary education for children and their families to overcome obstacles and develop their God-given talents, strengths, and abilities. Thirteen years later, the school is bursting with 150 bright, happy children who are outperforming neighboring schools by nearly 300% on state standardized tests.
