ExxonMobil’s High School Internship Program is an eight-week paid summer program available to upcoming juniors, seniors, and recent high-school graduates. These students are paired with a mentor and assigned a project to complete over the course of the summer. Since the Program’s inception in 2021, it has grown from 6 to 40 student interns. Beyond career exploration, ExxonMobil’s High School Internship Program includes community volunteering, interview and presentation skills, resume building, and contractor site visits. This year, students from the following schools are participating: Albany, Baton Rouge Magnet, Belaire, Central, East Ascension, Istrouma, Liberty Magnet, McKinley, Port Allen, Scotlandville, St. Amant, Tara, University Laboratory, West Feliciana, Woodlawn, Zachary High, Madison Preparatory, Liberty Magnet, and False River Academy.
