The East Baton Rouge Parish School System (EBRPSS) received more than $1 million for initiatives to enhance literacy for students K-3, support teachers, and provide on-the-job experiences for high school students. The investment is from ExxonMobil, and the school district will receive money over the next three years to support the teachers and students. “With this investment, we have the ability to help increase literacy rates, close learning gaps, support our educators, and make our school system a better place for the next generation of students,” says EBRPSS School Board President Dadrius Lanus.
