The East Baton Rouge Public School System (EBRPSS) recently hosted its third annual Fine Arts Summer Camp. Held at Tara High School, the theme for this year’s camp was “Going Wild for Fine Arts.” About 135 students from across East Baton Rouge Schools participated; they produced and performed various art forms, from music, to visual art, and to musical theater. The camp took place over the course of multiple weeks, with each day focusing on different mediums such as “Make Music Day.” EBRPSS also hosted three, free music camps to students in grades 4-11, focusing on band, jazz, and strings. A full recording of the end-of-camp presentation can be found on the Facebook page, EBR Fine Arts.
