Owen Lejeune, a sixth grader at The Dunham School, won 1st place in the 66th Louisiana Junior Amateur Championship. The Tiger golfer went into round two with a five-stroke lead and made eight birdies, which won him the championship by seven strokes. Owen played against the best junior golfers in the state during the tournament, which took place at Beaver Creek Golf Course in Zachary. The Tiger winner shot under par on both days with scores of 71-71.
