HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS ABOUT THEIR CHILD’S PROGRESS AND DAILY EXPERIENCES?
We partner closely with families using Brightwheel for real-time updates, photos, and communication. Secure webcams also allow parents to view their child’s day for added transparency and peace of mind.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO HANDLING CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS OR CONFLICTS AMONG CHILDREN?
Our teachers guide children through challenges using modeling and collaboration, helping build empathy, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS OF YOUR TEACHERS AND STAFF?
Our teachers meet Type Ill qualifications and are selected for both strong credentials and a passion for early childhood education. Ongoing professional development ensures consistent, high-quality learning across both campuses.

WHAT HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE, AND HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES?
Safety is our top priority. Teachers are trained in Health & Safety and Medication Administration and follow clear emergency protocols to maintain a secure learning environment.

Young Scholars Enrichment, established in 2025, is our newly expanded campus (located right next door to Young Scholars Academy)—created to give families more space, more experiences, and more opportunities for children to grow. While the location is new, the philosophy, team, and standards behind it are deeply established. Young Scholars Enrichment builds on the trusted foundation of Young Scholars Academy, where Growth Mindsets Begin, and expands it through intentional enrichment, exploration, and hands-on learning. Our summer camp is designed for families who want their children to stay engaged, curious, and confident—without losing academic rhythm during the summer months. Our leadership team brings over 40 years of combined early childhood experience, intentionally planning a summer program that blends fun with structure. Children continue reading, engage in literacy-based activities such as AR reading, and receive support with school-provided summer packets—all seamlessly embedded into the daily experience. Learning doesn’t pause; it simply looks more joyful. Summer Camp at Young Scholars Enrichment includes frequent field trips, outdoor learning, cooking classes, and hands-on enrichment activities designed to deepen understanding and spark curiosity. Children also enjoy our school garden, where they help grow produce and choose items to taste-test—prepared fresh by our chef, Ms. Wanda Jones—connecting learning, wellness, and real-world experiences.
