St. Thomas More Catholic School – Preschool

At STM, we are committed to continuing a legacy of excellence in religious and academic education in a nurturing environment that promotes self-discipline. Our average Preschool class size is 13 students, each supported by a lead teacher and an assistant. All teachers are degreed and/or certified, and our staff includes a registered nurse, guidance counselor, and resource officer. Our Be MORE classroom management system guides our teaching: We Model life skills, Open communication with parents, Reinforce the positives, and Engage children. Preschoolers enjoy a structured day of learning through play, including circle time, centers, enrichment classes (weekly music, art, PE, and library), Catholic religion class, recess, and afternoon nap time. Hot lunch is available for an additional fee. We offer morning and afternoon Extended Care. Parents receive daily behavior updates, fall and spring conferences, class emails, and biweekly newsletters.
