What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Catholic High School’s mission is to teach Gospel values in an environment of academic excellence according to Catholic tradition and the spirit of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. 

 

How does the school differentiate itself from other private schools in the area? CHS focuses on a holistic approach to education with members of the faculty striving to create an atmosphere for learning that provides young men with ample opportunities to thrive.

 

What are the core values that guide the school community? Our values are rooted in religious tradition, structured through friendly discipline, and nurtured by personal attention, all to set students on a path to academic excellence.

 

Are there advanced placement, honors programs, or dual enrollment classes available? A college-preparatory curriculum is required for students. Honors and AP courses include English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, and engineering. Dual enrollment courses are available for English and religion.

How does the school foster a sense of community among students? Our student-led extracurricular activities offer ample opportunities for young men to engage with their peers while helping them build relationships that support success in all aspects of life.

 

How can parents get involved in the school community? The CHS Office of Advancement offers many opportunities for parents to meet and socialize. CHS also has active Mothers’ and Men’s Clubs for parents to get involved with campus/student events.

 

What percentage of graduates go on to college? Over 95%.
