The Broadmoor Children’s Learning Center is known for its warm, loving, and deeply child-centered learning environment, where every child is seen, valued, and supported as a unique learner. Broadmoor uses the Frog Street curriculum alongside hands-on learning experiences and a rich, play-based approach to nurture each child’s academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Through meaningful relationships, intentional instruction, and joyful exploration, children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning. For more than 70 years, Broadmoor CLC has been a trusted presence in the Broadmoor neighborhood, building lasting relationships with families and the surrounding community. Honoring this legacy while continuing to grow and innovate, Broadmoor CLC is proud to join the East Baton Rouge Parish Early Childhood Network for the 2026–2027 academic year, further strengthening its commitment to high-quality early childhood education, school readiness, and long-term student success.

Broadmoor CLC welcomes families for tours every day of the week from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Families are encouraged to call to schedule a visit and experience the warmth, care, and learning environment firsthand. We are excited to welcome the next generation of children and families into our school community.

All staff members are First Aid and CPR certified, complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year, and have successfully passed an Early Childhood Background Check. All preschool teachers hold a bachelor’s degree, ensuring a strong foundation of professional training and instructional quality. Staff participate in CLASS classroom observations four times per year to support continuous growth, reflective practice, and instructional excellence.

Safety and communication are top priorities at Broadmoor CLC. All classrooms are equipped with in-room cameras, entry points are secured through monitored access control systems, and families receive real-time updates and communication through the Brightwheel app—creating a safe, connected, and transparent school experience for every family.
