Plant lovers, gardeners, and artists are invited to tour the lush, tropical private gardens and pond landscapes at the home of Charbel and Ruth Harb on Sunday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tours will be held at 841 Pastureview Drive in Oak Hills in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the event will be in support of Redstick C.A.R.E.S.’s community pantry and Cares team. The Team is a group of young adults who are living with autism and are learning how to care for themselves and others. Through the community pantry, the Team provides 30+ families with groceries each week while they learn important life skills, including nutrition, inventory, distribution, and community needs.
Admission is free with the donation of shelf-stable items, such as shelf-stable milk, rice, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, tuna, ravioli, SpaghettiOs, Vienna sausage, and canned vegetables. The items will be donated to the community pantry.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Food and beverages will also be available. Tickets can be reserved at redstickcares.org/fathersday.
