Families from across Baton Rouge recently gathered at FMOL Health | Our Lady of the Lake for Take Back the Night, a free community event shining a light on domestic violence and offering hope and healing to survivors. With powerful speakers, worship music from local church groups, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, the evening created a safe space for parents, children, and neighbors to stand together against violence at home. Through partnerships with organizations like IRIS Domestic Violence Center and local law enforcement, the event connected families with vital resources and reminded survivors—and their children—that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
