The East Baton Rouge Parish School System hosted a Prom Safety Event for students, in partnership with the State Troopers Office and Capitol High School. With prom season in full swing, EBR schools and local State Troopers felt it was necessary to discuss various topics, from proper etiquette to awareness about domestic violence. Several community partners agreed to participate in the initiative, including Noble, Baton Rouge Leadership Alumni through BREC, the Butterfly Society, and the Baton Rouge Criminal Justice Foundation. This initiative aims to leave a lasting impression on students and prioritize safety and awareness during prom season and beyond.
