Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is excited to announce that the Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence has recognized Baton Rouge’s MyBR app for its contribution to open government and resident services in the city. The MyBR app is a digital tool that serves as a connection between the city’s data and its residents, offering access to important information and services directly to residents through their smartphone devices. MyBR allows residents to interact with city data, view local statistics, and municipal services, and access data records. This app “improves our residents’ quality of life by making government data more accessible and transparent,” says Mayor Broome.
