ExxonMobil hosted its 20th “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” and invited more than 100 local girls to spend the day with women engineers to gain a glimpse into a STEM-focused career. The girls participated in hands-on activities to dive deeper into the creative side of science while focusing on technology, engineering, and math. Carol Anderson, Teacher at Scotlandville Magnet High School, says, “We have several girls in our program who are interested in engineering and are taking this opportunity to get into this field. We’re excited because of the partnerships we have with ExxonMobil and the opportunities it gives our students.”
