Join the East Baton Rouge Parish Library to celebrate the 18th annual One Book One Community reading. Explore the past through 4,000 years of recipes; from Babylon, circa 1740 B.C., all the way to the 20th century U.S.A. Tasting History is a book for food lovers and history buffs alike. Author Max Miller tells the story of food, from ancient Rome to Ming China to medieval Europe and beyond. These best-loved recipes are now available to make and share with loved ones. Miller has created a book compiled of over sixty dishes for readers to admire and make! It all begins with a Kickoff Party for the whole family on Friday, March 8, 5-7 p.m., at the EBR Main Library–featuring live music, free food, and children’s activities. The six-week celebration will end with a special presentation by Max Miller at the Main Library on Goodwood in April. ■ ebrpl.com
