It was “Back to the Future” for students at The Dunham School’s Lower School Innovation Night. Teachers, students and families explored creative possibilities in the future, including bringing original art to life using artificial intelligence to animate their drawings; seeing the work in a different way through futuristic glasses; creating legs for animals using 3D printers; and using Makey Makey to create musical circuits that play piano music on a banana! Families also enjoyed old school creativity building with blocks and Legos and making pictures using a variety of shapes. Each station provided students with opportunities to experiment and explore, using creativity, collaboration, problem solving and design thinking– skills essential to prepare young students for the future.
