The Baton Rouge Clinic

At a young age, Dr. Joseph Redhead, Jr. and Dr. Adrianne Edmundson both knew they wanted to pursue medicine.

To pursue their passion, the two completed extensive training and are now board-certified in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

At The Baton Rouge Clinic, Dr. Redhead and Dr. Edmundson are prepared to help families with all of their allergy, asthma, and immunology needs–from the infant stage to the adult stage.

They treat a variety of different ailments including allergies, asthma, food allergy, stinging insect allergy, immunodeficiency disorders, eczema, and drug allergies.

The doctors work closely with their patients to determine the best strategy for treatment and relief of their symptoms. The main goal is to improve their patient’s quality of life. Appropriate patients can obtain long term relief of allergies and asthma with allergy shots. Allergy shots are over 90% effective when given properly. It has been proven in clinical studies to decrease allergy symptoms, medication use, prevent new allergies and asthma in children, and promote lasting-relief of allergy symptoms even after treatment is stopped.

Among the many services available, The Baton Rouge Clinic allergy department provides allergy testing, allergy shots, asthma testing, food and drug challenges, venom desensitization, and immune deficiency evaluations.
