The BulahBots, Parkview Baptist’s Varsity Robotics team, had an amazing season this year, competing in two regional championships and the first robotics championship, World. The team competed in Laurel, Mississippi and Kenner, Louisiana with their robot, Leviathan, who can grab a variety of objects from elevated surfaces, travel the field, and score goals, Leviathan could also balance on the charge station with two other robots at the end of each match. The BulahBots’ first competition in Laurel particularly was a huge success, as they won overall and also won the Engineering Inspiration Award. They are one of the longest lasting teams in Baton Rouge and passionate about bringing back mentors and alumni to help with future endeavors.
