Over 1,000 Ochsner Baton Rouge employees have already received their first dose of the vaccine. The second dose of vaccinations at Ochsner Baton Rouge took place last Monday, January 5, 2021. Employees return for their second vaccine dose 21 days following the first dose.
Dr. Brandon Weeks, a family medicine physician who volunteered to go from his clinic to treating patients (including COVID-19 positive) at Ochsner Medical Center–Baton Rouge, was the first person vaccinated in Baton Rouge, at 2 p.m. on December 15th. Today, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Dr. Weeks received his second dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
