BellyFire Summer Youth Ceramics Program
Big Projects. Real Clay. Serious Fun. Ages 8-16 M-Fri 8:30am-11:30am $300/week BellyFire’s Summer Program is more than arts and crafts—it’s a hands-on introduction to the world of ceramics for kids ages eight to sixteen who are ready to work with clay in a real studio setting. For Summer 2026, we’re moving to a project-based format, where campers focus on creating larger, more intentional pieces instead of lots of small projects. Each session centers around a featured build—such as jars, vases, tea sets, and other forms (with additional projects to be announced). Campers learn the fundamentals on Day One, then build on those skills throughout the week as projects become more complex. Time on the pottery wheel is also included, giving students exposure to both handbuilding and wheel throwing. More details and full session themes will be released over the coming weeks, with final programming announced in February!
