Baton Rouge families are invited to an evening of excitement, learning, and community at BASIS Baton Rouge Mid City’s Open Enrollment Celebration on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Designed for children in grades K–5, this event welcomes both current and prospective families to discover what makes BASIS Baton Rouge a standout choice for academic excellence and engaging education.

Guests can look forward to a variety of STEM-inspired activities and hands-on fun for kids of all ages. The celebration will feature the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Bookmobile, interactive science experiences from Nature on the Geaux’s Nature Station, and a lively foam party from the Louisiana Foam Factory. Delicious bites will be available for purchase from Fat Elbows Southern Fare Food Truck, making it the perfect Friday night outing for the whole family.

Families who complete the enrollment process during the event will receive a special gift — a FREE Parish the Pelican plush toy — as a fun way to mark the start of their educational journey with BASIS.

The Open Enrollment Celebration offers a great opportunity to meet teachers, explore the campus, and learn more about the acclaimed BASIS Charter School curriculum, which blends academic rigor with a nurturing, inclusive community.

The event will take place at BASIS Baton Rouge Mid City, located at 7921 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Admission is free, but space is limited. Families are encouraged to RSVP at Eventbrite to reserve their spot at this exciting community event.
