Halloween is around the corner, and families in Baton Rouge can look forward to a unique tradition that mixes fright and fun: Benny’s 5th Annual Haunted Car Wash. This two-night event will take place October 17–18 at the Siegen Lane location, running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening.
What makes the Haunted Car Wash special is its family-friendly approach. The first hour each night is reserved just for kids, giving little ones a chance to enjoy a spooky but safe atmosphere before the scarier thrills roll in. Families can drive through together, experiencing flashing lights, eerie sound effects, and costumed characters, all from the comfort of their own car.
Tickets are $30 per vehicle and can be purchased online or at the gate. Even better, every dollar raised goes directly to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Over the past five years, the event has raised more than $150,000 to support pediatric care, proof that a little Halloween fun can make a big difference.
For parents, it’s a win-win: kids get a memorable seasonal outing, while the community comes together to support a vital cause. Benny’s Car Wash, a Baton Rouge family-owned business since 1951, is proud to host this annual tradition with the help of community partners and sponsors.
So load up your little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes, and make your way to Siegen Lane for a night of thrills, chills, and charitable giving.
