Parkview Baptist School’s Aiden Monistere was named the 2024–25 Gatorade Louisiana Boys Track & Field Player of the Year, honoring athletic excellence, academic achievement, and character. Monistere won the 2-mile at New Balance Nationals with a time of 8:52.31 (No. 5 nationally) and swept the 800, 1600, and 3200 at the Class 3A state meet, anchoring the winning 4×800 relay. A state record-holder and 18-time state champion, Monistere has volunteered through Eagle Academy and summer camps. He will continue his athletic career at Iowa State University this fall.
