Get ready for a wild ride! BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo is bringing together the best of two worlds—classic cars and exotic animals—at its first-ever Rumble in the Jungle Car Show on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind event promises a day full of family fun, stunning vehicles, and close-up animal encounters. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Zoo’s beautiful grounds, Rumble in the Jungle will feature everything from vintage classics to custom showstoppers. Whether you’re a lifelong car enthusiast, an animal lover, or just looking for a unique day out with the family, this event is revved up to deliver something for everyone.

In addition to the car show, guests can enjoy hands-on animal experiences, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities, all included with the price of Zoo admission. It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and conservation, all in one unforgettable event.

“Rumble in the Jungle is the perfect combination of community, creativity, and conservation,” says Zoo Director Jim Fleshman. “We’re excited to welcome a brand-new audience to the Zoo while giving car fans a fun and meaningful way to connect with wildlife and each other.”

Vehicle registration opens July 14 and runs through October 10. Car owners eager to showcase their rides can register and find more information at brzoo.org/rumble.

Special event admission prices:
