1996–The first Raising Cane’s opened and served customers until 3:30 a.m.
1997–Baton Rouge Grandparents begins distributing. & Baton Rouge Parents Magazine hosts the first Camp Fair and Summer Vacation Expo.
1997–Mall of Louisiana opens in Baton Rouge.
2003–Louisiana Art & Science Museum opens the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium & ExxonMobil Space Theater.
2004–LSU Football Team wins 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl and captures the 2003 BCS National Title.
2005–Baton Rouge Parents Magazine hosts its very first Sock it to Me! Sock Drive. & Hurricane Katrina devastates the coast. & Mike the Tiger’s new habitat is officially open and Mike moves into his new home. & Shaw Center for the Arts opens.

2007–YMCA and BREC form Aquatic Partnership with Brook, Gus Young and Howell Parks, and YMCA provides swimming lessons and open swim to all ages.
2008–Bass Pro Shops opens in Denham Springs with an estimated 15,000 in attendance. & The Cinderella Project launches to provide free prom dresses to students in need.

2010–Realm of the Tiger opens at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo. & New Orleans Saints become Super Bowl Champs.
2013–Baton Rouge Parents Magazine and Healing Place Church team up to deliver an 18-wheeler full of supplies to support the families of Moore, Oklahoma. & Hope House opens as the first Louisiana refuge for women victims of human trafficking. & Trevor Sims makes a wish to feed the hungry and through combined efforts of many, 433,333 meals are donated to those in need.
2014–East Baton Rouge Parish’s Main Library opens. & Miss USA pageant is live from the Baton Rouge River Center.
2015–Baton Rouge Parents Magazine’s Expecting BrBaby issue is revamped and is now Pink & Blue. & Warren Drake named new superintendent of East Baton Rouge Parish School System.
2016–Southeast Louisiana experiences historic floods.

2019–Baton Rouge Parents Magazine begins publishing Inspire Health Louisiana. & LSU Tigers are National Champions. & LSU’s Joe Burrow wins the Heisman Trophy.
