Kite Fest BR 2025

Families are invited to BREC’s Hartley/Vey Park for a fun-filled day of kite flying. Attendees can bring their own kites or purchase one at the event. The celebration will feature kite competitions, hands-on kite-making workshops, fun jumps, games, and more. Guests can enjoy delicious food from local vendors and live music while watching colorful kites fill the sky.
All proceeds will benefit the Gardere Initiative Community Center, which provides year-round programming for youth and families in the Gardere community.
