It’s time to pull out those books and start reading for this year’s summer reading programs at our local libraries! Along with the thrill of reading and earning prizes, the libraries will be hosting events, workshops, storytimes, concerts, and performances for all ages. Ascension Library’s program will run from May 23-July 31, and the theme is “Read, Renew, Repeat.” Livingston Parish Library’s program will run from May 20-August 4, and East Baton Rouge Parish Library’s program will run from June 1-August 15.
