Parkview’s Junior Beta Club Wins at Convention


The Junior Beta Club from Parkview Baptist School won multiple awards at this year’s convention. Over 250 Junior Beta Clubs from across Louisiana gathered in Lafayette at the Cajundome for various competitions in early February. Twenty-seven members from the Parkview Baptist club attended, competing against hundreds of students in each category.

The club brought home the following awards:
1st Place 6th Grade Language Arts: Gracie Cervantes
1st Place 8th Grade Language Arts: Hadley Petersen
2nd Place 6th Grade Math: Mason Liner
5th Place Drawing: Kyleigh Lewis

Almost 8,400 students from across the state attended the convention this year. Congratulations, Parkview Junior Beta Club members!
