Get Food Delivered Straight to your LSU Baseball Seat with WAITR

Waitr and LSU Athletics have announced a new service allowing fans attending LSU home baseball games to order their favorite stadium foods and Waitr delivering them free straight to your seat. The new service will be available starting May 14, when the Tigers begin a weekend home stand against SEC rival Alabama.

Waitr’s new mobile stadium delivery allows fans to skip the concession lines and still get their favorite food and soft drinks only with a few taps on the Waitr or the LSU Sports Mobile app.

By scanning the Stadium Delivery QR code (found in seats and signage all around the ballpark), you will have access to the full concession stand menu. Simply order what you want, perhaps your favorite hot dog and fries, and a Waitr runner will deliver it straight to your seat.

The in-seat stadium food delivery keeps customers safe by promoting social distancing, eliminating long lines and improving the customer experience at the concession stand.

“Waitr has had a long-standing relationship with LSU Athletics since the beginning and we’re thrilled we can build on that partnership with this new service at the ballpark,” says Chris Creeden, Baton Rouge Regional Manager for Waitr. “There’s nothing better than catching a ballgame with friends and family … and now there’s no reason to ever miss a pitch.”

“This is another great example of how LSU Athletics leverages the power of our partnership with Playfly Sports Properties to further elevate the fan experience,” says Lance Burgos, General Manager LSU Sports Properties/Playfly Sports Properties. “As we look toward a post-pandemic environment, working with Waitr helps us foster an even safer and more comfortable way for fans to enjoy Tiger Baseball.”
