Audubon Zoo Lion Cubs Visit the Vet

We could all use a little good news! Audubon Zoo’s newest lion cubs had their second medical check up. Audubon's veterinarian team and animal care staff thoroughly examined the two male lion cubs by weighing them; examining their teeth, ears and eyes; and administering their second round of vaccinations.

While Audubon is closed during the COVID-19 outbreak, the cubs are being taken care of by dedicated animal staff and a committed vet team, who are very pleased to give both of them a clean bill of health!
